Introduction
The meaning and interpretation of feelings, sensations, pain and ailments discussed here are a result of our learning experiences in the Lord as we obey his call to engage in intercession and warfare. We found out that there are intercessors and warriors in different parts of the globe who are also experiencing the same things. These intercessors and warriors agree with us that feelings and sensations are indicators of spiritual situations of places, individuals, tribes and nations.
It is important to distinguish the unique purpose and function of feelings. Feelings are identifiers of physical and spirit beings and situations. They are also indicators of intensity, degree or measure of their work. Feelings describe the total identity and personality of the unseen beings in the atmosphere which is also called as the spirit realm. Feelings may also describe the purpose, works, scheme, location, distance, and time zone of the spirit beings being discerned.
However, feelings, sensations, pain and ailments should not be used as our leading or guidance. We must respond or move according to the WORD of God, not according to feelings.
Sensors
We feel because our spirit and body senses the physical and spirit realms. We have one spirit and body but we can feel different feelings. The feelings when a physical object is touched describe the surface, material, type, and identity of the object. This same principle applies to spiritual objects or beings in the spirit realm.
Feelings are accurate for physical and spiritual discernment. Spirits cannot hide from our Spirit-activated sensors translating the feelings. Activation or de-activation is under the control of the Holy Spirit. But a deactivated sensor cannot feel, discern nor identify a particular being in the spirit realm. For some reason, God sometimes deactivates our sensors so that we do not feel the painful presence of evil nor distinguish the human spirit at a certain time and place.
Intensity
Intensity of feelings or sensations speaks of the measure, degree, power, rank of demons. It also speaks of the magnitude of wickedness or holiness. An intense pain on the head indicates the presence of a principality or of Satan himself. An intense heat, joy and love indicates the presence of God or of his angels.
In some cases, pain and ailments may be extremely unbearable. Intercessors and warriors ignorant of this principle or have a low threshold for pain may resort to prescribed drugs. Though consultation with doctors need not be totally eradicated from the activities of discerning warriors, they should aim to identify and subdue the source of pain, the wicked spirit/s terrorizing the atmosphere so that the pain or ailment will go away.
Point of Contact
A place, person, or object may serve as a point of contact in sensing or discerning spirits scheming and working at a different location or time. Our Spirit-activated sensors can sharply discern spirits anywhere in the world. We have tried and tested this capability at our warfare school with different students.
