Introduction

This article will attempt to give an introductory picture on the ignored prophetic significance of different feelings felt in the atmosphere in different places, times and seasons. It will attempt to  unfold and make available my personal insight, study and experience on the philosophy, art and science of feelings. There is much room to be discovered here and I pray that the Body of Christ, particularly those who are called to intercession and warfare, will quickly see and explore with me and with those who are discovering the truths, principles and capabilities that God has given his church so that she will be fruitfully and powerfully effective in putting everything, including death, under the feet of Jesus. Then the end will come.

Mix Reactions

The Lord warned me of the mix reactions in the Body of Christ on this. Those who tend to believe this new found truths on prophetic feelings are those who will experience healing and deliverance from their " thorn in the flesh " which is afflicting them for many years in spite of their godly lives and excellent faith and obedience in the Lord. With them are also those who will humbly accept this teaching and will experience its power in intercession and warfare. On the other side are those who will refuse to accept and believe this teaching. They will strongly oppose this truth and will think that they are doing a great honor to the Lord for treating us as false teachers and false prophets in the Church. On the middle are those who advised us to shelf this teaching until the Body of Christ is ready to receive it to avoid controversy and disunity. Also with them are those who will not take any stand on this matter. But the Lord commanded me and our team to move out and move on. To discover more of the truths on feelings that the devil attempted to blind and hinder us from knowing its benefits as a power tool to identify his schemes, presence and works.

As a consequence of my obedience to the Lord, I have been ridiculed and mocked in churches, prophetic conferences and seminars by prophetic ministers and Christians who were once my team mates. But the Lord is always our encouragement; he taught us not to move according to situations, to oppressions, or to what others would say against us but according to his word even to the point of death. We have our  God to serve and glorify, a people to set free from torment, a heaven to keep, and a warfare mandate to fulfill.

We have to learn, train and impart the truths and principles on feelings and  emotions. We applied the warfare principles the Lord taught us in neutralizing evil and wickedness in the atmosphere. So we avoided any retaliation or defense in any manner. The Lord saw us through the pain of betrayal or rejection that swooped on us in all corners of the Philippines. It was tough but powerful training on humility, forgiveness and love we had to go through.

The Lord paved the way to understand my feelings.

This awareness on the prophetic significance on feelings and emotions started during the heat of  the prophetic fire burning the Philippines in the 90's.

Sometime in 1995, I was invited to minister to a church in Bulacan. After ministering powerfully in the prophetic anointing, I noticed that mild pain on my head began to afflict me throughout my journey bound for home. The pain increased as we cruised along the highway within the boundary of Bulacan, the gate to northern provinces in  Luzon. In spite of my intense and non-stop prayer, the pain did not stop. Still in pain the next day, I went into intercession and warfare. The Lord opened my eyes and in a vision I saw a gathering of men composed of local government officials, police officers and gambling lords forming an alliance. I prayed against their alliance and the ruling spirits they have enthroned in their corruption and wickedness. Then the pain stopped.

Normally, Christians regard such pain as a symptom coming from either physiological or psychological causes. Way back in 1990, I entered into a faith covenant with the Lord when He graciously taught me to receive healing without medication everytime pain or sickness afflicts me. My training started with mild colds and cough, headaches,  abdominal pain, chest pains and various discomforts. The Lord brought me into that level of faith where prayer of truths on health and healing is effective. But as time goes by, my usual prayer is not healing me. The  persistent pain bothered me but I did not give in to medication.

The next time the same church invited me, the atmosphere is clear. No pain afflicted me whatsoever.

Some months later, the Bulacan youth organization composed of prophetic churches invited me to  minister in their gathering. In my journey to Bulacan, the pain I felt the first time I went to minister in Bulacan began to afflict me again. At first mildly, while still within the boundaries of Metro Manila, then increased as we neared  Malolos town, my destination.

With that pain afflicting my head, I went on with my message and powerfully ministered to the  youth giving personal prophecies to key leaders. Visions and revelations came upon me and I strongly felt the presence of God and I noticed that the pain on my head was subdued. After the ministry, the painful affliction came back. I did  not understand.

On my way home, I concentrated on praying against the lingering pain on my head but I did not  feel any better. I tried to seek understanding from the Holy Spirit but I was not getting any revelation in a vision nor heard an audible voice I desperately needed to get rid of the pain. The bus I was on was cruising the North Diversion  Road within the boundaries of Bulacan. I was also feeling as if abandoned by the Lord

Then, the pain went away. I noticed we had crossed the boundary of Bulacan. The Lord opened my eyes of understanding. I quickly perceived in my spirit that the pain I felt on my head was a prophetic indicator of my senses picking up the presence of territorial spirits ruling over Bulacan. I discovered that territorial spirits are also bounded by the geographic boundaries of the province they wickedly control. At home, I went into a fierce battle against the territorial spirits. I saw in my vision ruling spirits controlling the local government through gambling  lords influencing the police and local officials of the towns in the province of Bulacan. Later in the news, government authorities announced the all out drive against gambling. Suspected gambling lords in different cities and provinces were exposed and apprehended.

When I had another opportunity to minister to a Bulacan prophetic church, there was no  more pain. I concluded then that the territorial spirits had been subdued so that the heaven over Bulacan is clear.

From that time on, I did not ignore any feeling I felt. The Lord led me to different physical  and spiritual situations with distinct feelings. The feelings were serving as prophetic indicator of the spiritual atmosphere of the place. This may be an indicator of oncoming or current trouble instigated by demons using men.

This was the birthing of a power tool in discerning the spirit realm: feelings as a prophetic  indicator of the heavens.

Truth Sets Free

John 8:31, 32 NIV To the Jews who had believe him, Jesus said, " If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

I discovered through feelings that truth is powerful in warfare. Any pain would quickly stop if its source is identified. However, when in terrible pain, God knows it is not an easy task identifying the source, particularly the first time. So He gives us his grace to go thru this painful task as our spirits sense the painful presence of demons. I have heard remarks of some Christians that they do not like this experience and this kind of gift because of the pain. For us who are called into this mandate must not shun this task. We must appreciate our God-given gifts and mandate and be dedicated in waging warfare as one fulfilling the command of our Lord Sabaoth because we love God and we do not love our lives so much as to shrink from pain and death. Rev.12:11

The Lord is gearing us for endtime battle where wickedness is in its fullness. In spite of severe pain, let us pursue and be determined to identify the source, type of wickedness, and all facts necessary to eradicate the rulers and principalities with their legions of demons. Pain comes quickly; it also goes quickly.  Now do not be perplexed if you are unable to establish the truth necessary to identify and distinguish the pain even when it lingers for sometime. God will faithfully see you thru until it is subdued by prayer or if the afflicted person leaves the area of pain or atmosphere where the painful frequency exists.

Pain or sensations manifesting on any part of our physical body have a prophetic significance. I  was ministering in Palawan with another prophet when he felt a mild sensation on his index finger. He asked me what it meant and the Holy Spirit quickly told me it speaks of a blaming attitude and behavior among the worship team members of  the church. True enough, the worship team confessed their blaming and grumbling attitude and were set free from their resentments and bitterness against each other.

There was a season I did not enjoy going to malls because I would experience a terrible smarting on my eyes. At that time, I did not associate it yet to any prophetic symbol and meaning so I use eye drops to soothe them. A similar affliction had been happening since my college days so I thought the drops would fix it. Then one day as I was praying, the Holy Spirit put the words on my mouth saying, " Lust of the eyes, be gone. " The smarting feeling quickly stopped. My eyes were relieved minus the eye drops. Ha! Lust of the eyes is easy to  spot now.

Prior to these experiences, my wife had internal hordeolum or stye on her right eye in three different times. She would treat herself each time. On the third time, she pursued to ask the Lord. She got the impression that it had to do with some sin I was committing. Maybe peeping, she made it sound like a joke. But as I was watching her operate on her own eyelid using a mirror, what she said troubled me. Because it was true; I was obsessed with peeping. It dawned on me that everytime I commit sin, my wife would suffer. Then the Lord said, " Therefore,  don't commit sin ". I repented. That was the last affliction of my wife and her eyes have remained beautiful since.

Colds and cough were discovered to have significant meaning. At first, I was led to exercise my  simple faith on healing. After using my authority to rebuke colds and cough virus, I saw quick results. Then came another training level where prayer of vague rebukes are no longer effective. I wondered if my authority in the heavenly  places waned. Then I realized that the Lord wanted me to explore truths and principles governing the spirit realm so that my faith declarations seem to be ineffective. The lingering colds and cough finally were subdued when I was able to  identify disappointments and frustrations in the atmosphere.

There were different pains and sensations from numbness to severe pain. Its degree or intensity indicates the measurement or degree of evil in the atmosphere. Almost every day, my spiritual skin have felt different feelings in the heavenly places. It was a complex and tiring routing tracing the source and identifying the carriers of pain or sickness in the atmosphere that sometimes I want to be free from such situations. This exposure made me appreciate maintaining my position to be in God's presence at all times. The absence of God's felt presence means pain and  sickness in the atmosphere.

The Lord brought me into the spirit realm where pain must be understood or else our task in  putting everything under the feet of Jesus will not be effective.

 A wife is set free from severe pain on breasts

There was this man of God from Australia who visited me and my family and in our conversation he mentioned that his wife is afflicted with pain on her breasts for already two years. This friend, who is an apostle, had asked prayers from other apostles and prophets he met in his global ministry but saw no healing nor any progress. The Holy Spirit quickly activated me to tell him about the prophetic significance of pain since his wife is also a prophetess. So I explained to him that his wife's breast's pain will stop after she receives the prophetic symbol and meaning of her pain. He accepted my prophetic word for his wife then left after we prayed .

The next day while in tansit at the airport of an Asian country,  this friend phoned me and said that his wife prayed and sought God for the prophetic significance of her breasts' pain. The Lord told her that her breasts' pains speak of relationship problems of husbands, wives, men, and women in Australia. And after dealing with these issues in  prayer together with their Church's intercessors, the pain on her breasts stopped. My friend thanked and encouraged me to pursue these lessons I am learning from the Lord and that he will also share these truths in their Church.

Many great men and women of God died of incurable diseases. Was it God's will for them to die in  such an ugly way? Theologians came up with scholarly theses as if to defend God in this embarrassing affliction that could not testify God's miraculous power in healing diseases.

The Lord has unfolded before my eyes this prophetic feeling as an answer to Job's satanic affliction, Elisha's disease, and Paul's thorn in the flesh. These men of God who should not be afflicted with pain or disease because of their powerful authority in the heavenly places. God was with them as they performed great miracles recorded in Biblical history.

The Prophetic Feeling

This apostle shared this truth to afflicted intercessors and Christians in his global ministry.  People get healed and set free from their affliction. He calls our feelings as prophetic signboard. I would call it prophetic feeling.

Our body is a sign and symbol of the spirit realm. Our physical and spiritual anatomy are one  and the same. In the early part of 1998, I came into that understanding that feelings and emotions are two different things happening in our being.

Zeny, as a medical doctor, is God's gift for me to explore into understanding our human body to  understand spiritual matters. In my study to understand the different feelings experienced on different spiritual situations, Zeny was there to give me a quick picture of our body, its parts and their functions and activities. It is  awesome how God designed the human body, its parts and their network. I am only at the threshold of this study and those with me in these task are seeing breakthroughs in quicker warfare against forces of evil ruling the heavens.

We want to encourage others to learn with us in this area, as we also are gathering testimonies  to enhance and perfect our knowledge and wisdom in using our spiritual weapons provided by God.

Ungodly feelings must not be emoted

It would be defeat to emote what you feel; particularly when you are feeling the ungodly  heavens. This is where ministers are right by saying,

The feelings we have to emote are the godly feelings such as peace, love and joy in the Lord.  This must be perfected among us who are called to battle against tormentors and oppressors in the heavenly places.

This is why God gave to us the written word to remind us that we must be godly in our attitude,  character and behavior. Jesus came to be one with us in our being; in any situation of the atmosphere, emote Jesus.( John 17:26 NIV)

The Lord lead me into that level of understanding emotion  after desperately pleading to God to give me a break from being defiled in the atmosphere. How I wished I would always feel the presence of God. The wicked frequencies infesting the air had oppressed me terribly and my emotions were not  strong enough to resist the oppressive feelings. I emoted the resentments and bitterness I picked up in the atmosphere and my family and some people were oppressed or harassed. I have come to that point of being tired sorting out the  source, demon, person, identity and activity lurking in the atmosphere.

The Lord granted me a " vacation leave." As I was praying, I saw myself in a vision  going up to the third heaven. Two angels opened the gates for me and they ushered me into the presence of Jesus. While in his courts, the awesome presence of the Lord is felt by my (prophetic) skin, physically and spiritually.

Prophetic Feelings are Spirit-activated

The function of my feelings are not according to my wishes. I also discovered that this is the  Lord's prerogative. The Lord commands. He designates our warfare tasks. Powers and gifts we have in the Lord do not work according to our desires, wishes or wants; they work according to the Lord's orders.

Because of this, I also came to that point of restructuring my schedules of work,  rest and recreation; that this must be according to the orders of Jesus, our Lord Sabaoth. This is why our relationship with God must be so close to him. Everything of us must be totally submitted to him; from micro to macro plans, these  must be under his feet. So, at work or at rest, our spirit must be linked with him. Not because we are paranoid; not because we are useless or like robots who are dumb without God but because we are intimately in love with him who relates  with us in all our affairs. That we may be one as Jesus and the Father are one. This is why Jesus prayed, " I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave  them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that  you sent me. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. I will remain in the world no longer, but  they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name ---the name you gave me---SO THAT THEY MAY BE ONE AS WE ARE ONE. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name  you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scriptures would be fulfilled. John 17:6-12 NIV: I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth: your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. John 17:14-19 " ..that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one; I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you love me before the creation of the world. Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love  you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." John 17:21-26 NIV

The Mechanism of Feelings

Feeling is the response quotient of our spirit and body to something we touched or that touched us in the spirit and physical realms.

One Realm, One Atmosphere

The Physical and Spirit realm are one. The physical and spiritual atmosphere  are one, this is also referred to as the physical and spirit realm. Man is both physical being and spirit being. Angels and demons are spirit beings.

Physical Feelings

Physical feelings are felt by our skin when we touch or are touched by  physical beings or objects. Our skin is equipped with FNE ( free nerve endings ) and receptors. See figure above. Free nerve endings record sensations, pain or pleasure. Receptor is the general term given to a nerve ending that converts stimuli into nerve impulses.

Spiritual Feelings

Our spirit being is also equipped with FNE (free nerve endings)  and receptors. The SFNE (spiritual free nerve endings) record spiritual sensations, pain or pleasure. Spiritual receptors convert spiritual stimuli into spiritual nerve impulses which are sent to the  physical brain and the spiritual brain which is the mind or thought. The brain & mind make choices on how to react or respond. The reaction or response is the emotion.

Our spiritual free nerve endings ( SFNE) record the sensation when our spirit touches other spirits. It records the touch of God, angels, demons and human spirits.

When we experience the touch of God, we feel the fire of the Holy  Spirit. It is hot and awesome. The degree of heat may depend on the following factors:

• Measure of SFNE sensitivity
• The presence and works of the Holy Spirit.
• The presence and works of wicked spirits at a certain time and place.

When we touch bitter spirits, human or demon, our SFNE and  receptors send spiritual nerve impulses to our spiritual and physical brain which processes sensory data and initiates willful motor processes and muscle flexion. For example, the sensation  or pain of bitter spirits which is converted as painful nerve impulses are sent by the physical & spiritual brain to the spiritual and physical heart, the symbol of love and other emotions. This is  why the heart feels the pain when emotionally hurt. This emotional pain that is converted to physical pain in the heart can damage the physical heart. Emotional problems in relationships are felt in  the heart. With this ability, we can easily detect a person, spirit, or place when there is bitterness.

There are different kinds of sensation and pain. The ability or  inability to feel pain can be a blessing or a curse. We should always be guided by the principle that whether we feel or not feel, God allows it for his purpose and that we should know that purpose and fulfill it.

Feelings NOT a Choice

The option not to feel the oppression of wicked spirits in the  atmosphere is in the hand of God. Feelings, therefore, are not choices. You cannot choose what you want to feel because you can feel, whether you like it or not, the seen and unseen beings touching you in the atmosphere.

Feelings are Indicators or Signals of Spiritual Situation

Feelings are indicators or signals of spiritual situation. Therefore, good feelings are signals indicating good spiritual atmosphere or  situation. Bad feelings are indicators, signs, and signals indicating bad spiritual atmosphere or situation. Good feelings describe the presence of God and godly beings. Bad feelings describe the presence, identity, function, rank, activity and scheme of Satan and demons.

However, our prophetic feelings can be de-activated or walled by hedge of protection by the Lord for some reasons according to his purpose. For example: Having good feelings in times of demonic invasion indicates that the Lord has de-activated your sensors. Some  reasons are: (1) God's grace and protection is upon you because you are not yet in the maturity level to combat the demonic invaders; (2) God has tasked you to do other things.

Prophetic feelings also serve as indicators of future events. The plans, schemes of Satan and demons are also detected by our feelings such as the death of a person in the hand of the devil. The thoughts, plans and behavior of evil spirits and human beings can be detected by our prophetic feelings. Sins committed by a person can be detected too. The spiritual situation of man can be detected. And as you are harnessed by the Lord to go into complex truths of complex feelings, you will be able to feel good things and bad things and complex feelings indicating complex situations in the spirit realm. In a complex scenario, a bad feeling may point to a person NOT as source but as carrier or symbol of the source. I saw this complex scenario happen after I have talked with an angry friend. Tony felt pain in his right chest when I saw him. This is an indication that a male person is angry or bitter. I told Tony I wasn't angry nor bitter but came from a personal sharing of an angry and bitter Christian who confided with me. From this experience, It led me to understand that even a godly person can be a symbol of a negative spirit or problem. So prophetic feelings must be handled with prudence and care. One who operates in this dimension must not be quick to judge nor be judgmental. There must be a mature outlook as to perceiving culprits and sources of evil and wickedness in the spirit realms. We must always remember that demons corrupt the atmosphere and the people in it. People are most of the time the innocent victims of the wicked manipulations of rulers and principalities. Let us set them free by waging spiritual warfare. Let us patrol the heavens and see to it that darkness does not rule and reign. Let us harness our prophetic feelings in the Lord and bear the severe pains where battle is fiercest because it is in this dimension that rulers are crushed.

I pray that this article will strengthen misunderstood warriors already moving in this gift and anointing and those called to wage war in the second heaven in like manner into their perfect obedience and victory as they learn and implement God's truths and righteousness in their fiercest and painful battles.
