Forgiveness

Definition

Forgiveness is giving up the right to become angry and the right to punish the offender. It is a choice not a feeling. The pain may be severe due to a grievious offense committed but God wants us to forgive. The choice to forgive should not be based on the gravity of offense. Jesus showed us forgiveness when he was on the cross. He forgave the crucifiers and the whole mankind who caused his sufferings and death on the cross.

Why God Wants Us To Forgive

The offended cancels any demand for payment of any kind.
